Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to anyone booking a ticket, an exhibitor spot, or otherwise using the Mumma Connections website and events.
1. Bookings and payment
Event tickets are booked and paid for via our website (Squarespace), with payments processed securely by Stripe. Your booking is confirmed once payment is received.
Business Showcase spots cost £50 per event and are limited to one business per event, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Prices are shown in GBP and include any applicable fees unless stated otherwise.
2. Cancellations and refunds
All ticket and Business Showcase bookings are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled once purchased, including if you simply change your mind or can no longer attend.
Tickets to our events are for a specific date and are exempt from the standard 14-day "cooling off" cancellation right that applies to most online purchases, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
If we need to cancel or reschedule an event (e.g. venue issue, low numbers), you'll be offered a full refund or a place at the rescheduled date — this is the one circumstance in which a refund applies.
If you can no longer attend, you're welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else — just let us know who's coming in your place.
3. On the day
Please arrive at the advertised time. We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask someone to leave if their behaviour is disruptive or puts other attendees at risk. Any children attending remain the responsibility of their accompanying parent/guardian throughout the event.
4. Photography and filming
Attending an event means photos or video may be taken for use on our website and social media, as set out in our Privacy Policy. Let us know in advance or on the day if you'd prefer not to be included.
5. Liability
We take reasonable care to run safe, well-organised events at suitable venues, but we can't be held responsible for loss, injury, or damage arising from your attendance, except where caused by our negligence or that of our staff. Attendance is at your own risk, and any activities at the venue are subject to that venue's own terms.
6. Business Showcase Bookings
Businesses are responsible for their own products, claims made about them, insurance, and any materials brought to the event. Booking a Business Showcase spot does not guarantee sales or footfall, and does not create any partnership or agency relationship with Mumma Connections.
7. Community and conduct
Our Facebook group (Meet Suffolk Mums) and events are meant to be a supportive space. We reserve the right to remove anyone, online or in person, whose behaviour is abusive, discriminatory, or otherwise breaches our community guidelines.
8. Website use
Content on this website (text, logos, photos) belongs to Mumma Connections or is used with permission and shouldn't be reproduced without our consent. We try to keep information accurate but can't guarantee the website will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be available on our website.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
