Complaints Policy

Last updated: 23rd July 2026

We want everyone who books an event, exhibits with us, or takes part in our community to have a good experience. If something's gone wrong, here's how to raise it and what to expect from us.

1. How to make a complaint

Email us at hello@mummaconnections.com with details of what happened, including the event/date if relevant, and what outcome you're hoping for. If it relates to something that happened on the day, you're also welcome to raise it with the event leader in person.

2. What happens next

  • We'll acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days.

  • We'll look into it and come back to you with a response within 30 working days. If it's more complex and needs longer, we'll let you know and give a revised timeframe.

  • Where a complaint relates to a specific event leader, exhibitor, or third-party venue, we may need to speak with them as part of looking into it.

3. Possible outcomes

Depending on the complaint, this might include an apology, a change to how we run future events, a credit or refund where appropriate, or — for serious breaches of our community guidelines — removal from an event or the Meet Suffolk Mums group.

4. If you're not happy with our response

If you don't feel your complaint has been resolved, you can ask for it to be reviewed again by Martina Darling setting out why you feel the response wasn't sufficient.

For complaints about how we've handled your personal data specifically, you also have the right to contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) after raising it with us first.

5. Our commitment

We treat every complaint fairly, take it seriously, and won't treat anyone less favourably at future events for having raised one in good faith.
