MOTHERHOOD CAN FEEL LONELY —
BUT YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO IT ALONE

MOTHERHOOD CAN FEEL LONELY BUT YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO IT ALONE

A woman with long brown hair smiles while holding a baby in her arms indoors near a window.

You imagined motherhood would come with a ready-made group of friends. But sometimes the reality looks very different.

You want to leave the house, but don’t know where to go. You want to chat to someone who understands. You want to ask questions, share the highs and lows, and drink a coffee while it’s still hot.

Mumma Connections was created for exactly that.

A welcoming space for normal Suffolk mums to meet, chat, laugh and make genuine friendships — without pressure, judgement or needing to have it all figured out.

NOT YOUR AVERAGE BABY AND TODDLER GROUP

Mumma Connections is about more than just entertaining the children.
It’s about helping mums find their people.

At our events you’ll:

✓ Meet local mums with similar-aged children
✓ Ask advice from mums who have been there and done it
✓ Enjoy guest speakers talking about real motherhood issues
✓ Let the children play while you enjoy adult conversation
✓ Take a moment for yourself as a mum

And yes...

You’ll hopefully drink your coffee while it’s still hot!
No make-up needed.
No pressure.
No pretending.
Come as you are.

I asked 100 Suffolk Mums what they needed
This is what they said…

✨ A relaxed, no judgement, atmosphere to make connections.

✨ Finding mums with similar aged children. That way you'll have your go to mums for advice, playdates and so much more where you'll always relate to what each other is saying.

✨ Meet new friends. You can never have enough friends. Friends who genuinely get that the journey is hard.

THE EVENTS I WISH I’D HAD AS A NEW MUM

I'm Martina, Suffolk mum of two.

I had my first baby just before Covid and when we came out of lockdown, I had no idea where I could go and had no mum friends to go with. This is where Meet Suffolk Mums, the Facebook community, was born.

Now Mumma Connections creates the events that I wish I had. Events providing more friends, more reasons to leave the house and less hot drinks going cold.

During my motherhood journey, I experienced so many challenges with reflux, breastfeeding, sleep and potty training. And I know how much easier those moments can feel when you have people around you who understand.

Friends to ask advice during the night feeds.
Friends to message when things feel hard.
Friends who remind you that you’re not alone.

We all need our village.
